CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A dryer caused thousands of dollars in damage Friday.
The blaze sparked on Wood Green Terrace Friday. Fire officials on the scene told NewsChannel 36 that a dryer started the fire.
Officials estimated there was $12,000 in damage to the laundry room. The family was not home at the time of the fire and no one was injured.
