MONROE, N.C. – Friends of a man killed in a hit and run accident are calling for justice.
Saturday, friends of Josh Crowley held a rally in Downtown Monroe in honor of the 22-year-old. Crowley was killed on Easter weekend after being hit by and SUV driver near Wesley Chapel.
The driver came forward, but said that a relative had been driving the vehicle the night of the crash. Two weeks after the fatal collision, no one has been charged.
“There should be something done,” said Josh Carter, "and it should be done and done now”.
The Highway Patrol tells NewsChannel 36 the accident is still under investigation.
