CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. -- The Cleveland County Bigfoot story has gone viral since we first shared it on Monday. It's played out on 24-hour cable news and online.
Thursday night the clip was seen on Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon explains that Tim Peeler of Cleveland County thought he was calling for coyotes when he encountered Bigfoot.
“This thing was 10-feet tall,” Peeler said. “He had beautiful hair.”
Peeler then explained how he was able to scare Bigfoot away.
“I said get away from here,” as he poked a wooden stick in the air. “Get, get.”
“I love that dude,” Fallon said on the show. “He was just calling coyotes that’s all. Is that what you do? People call coyotes in their spare time?”
