MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Friday firefighters were consumed with two house fires that were both sparked by lightning.
You can actually see the spot where the bolt struck a million dollar home on Whippoorwill Road.
Investigators say there’s approximately $100,000 in damages.
Around the same time just two miles away, another lightning strike sparked a house fire on Water Oak Drive. Firefighters say lightening hit the attic.
