CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man was injured after accidentally shooing himself at a Charlotte gun show on Sunday.
The incident happened around 10 a.m. at the Metrolina Expo minutes before the Dixie Gun and Knife show was set to open to the public
NewsChannel 36 has learned a vendor accidentally shot himself in the hand. Officials say the man was cleaning a .40-caliber weapon when it went off.
The show’s organizers would only say “the case is under review”. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police tells NewsChannel 36 they don't expect to file any charges.
