CORNELIUS, N.C. – Cornelius Police have arrested a man in connection to a car chase on Interstate 77.
The chase happened on January 8, but was cancelled by authorities due to safety concerns. Officials said the chase first began as a narcotics investigation. Investigators were able to arrest Andre McCarroll, of Charlotte days later.
McCarroll, 27, is facing a slew of charges including assault on a government employee. He was arrested two weeks before his birthday.
