CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are searching for a man suspected in a stabbing at an extended stay motel in west Charlotte.
Officers tell NewsChannel 36 that two men got into an argument at the Homestead Lodge on Wilkinson Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, and one stabbed the other in the lower back.
Police think the victim ran across the parking lot and broke the glass of the motel office, trying to get someone's attention. He was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
