SALISBURY, N.C.-- A man was stabbed Saturday night outside Catawba College's football stadium while the college's football team was playing its home opener.
Salisbury Police were called to the stadium just after 7 p.m. Saturday night for a report that someone had been stabbed.
Security officers had 71-year-old Robert Spencer Massey in custody when police arrived on scene.
Police say Massey had gotten into a fight with 57-year-old Freddie Lamont Lynn, also of Salisbury, and stabbed him.
Lynn was taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Massey has been charged with aggravated affray.
Lynn has similar charges pending against him.
Police say the two men had an ongoing dispute.
