CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The State Highway Patrol had to taser a suspect after a traffic stop led them on a high speed chase.
Officials said the chase in northwest Charlotte Saturday night ended with the arrest of Rayvon Nashville.
Troopers said it all started when Nashville took off after a traffic stop on I-85 south. Officials said the speeds reached speeds of up to 110 miles per hour. Nashville eventually crashed then jumped out of the vehicle and ran.
The trooper caught up with him at the Shell gas station. The trooper used his taser to catch up with Nashville.
He’s now facing a long list of charges including DWI, drug possession, reckless driving and a felony charge for eluding arrest.
