MONROE, N.C. – A Monroe High School employee found a bag of marijuana in the hallway.
Officials said the small baggie of marijuana was found in the auditorium hallway on Friday morning. A school official reviewed video of the area and noticed a student dropping the baggie on the floor.
Police said the student was identified and admitted to dropping the marijuana. The student’s parents were also contacted and a juvenile petition was filed, according to the report.
