CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One of the most popular brunch spots in South End closed its doors for good on Sunday.
Pewter Rose has been a landmark in Charlotte for over two decades. After a pipe burst, the restaurant couldn't afford to stay open.
The owner says it has been difficult, but she appreciates all of the support and memories over the years.
"People that have had anniversaries, weddings, babies...everything here -- and they're all telling me about it today. It's really just touching my heart," said Susie Peck, the owner.
Pewter rose closed Sunday after its final dinner.
