CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Charlotte Police are on the scene of a homicide investigation where someone was found dead inside a burnt out car.
The Charlotte Fire department was called out to the scene on Cunningham Drive just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday for a vehicle fire.
When they finally got the fire put out, they discovered there was a body inside.
The victim is male, but not much more is known at this point.
Witnesses say two black males set the vehicle on fire before fleeing the scene in a possible tan or beige Honda Accord or a vehicle that is similar to that.
One of the suspects is described as having dreadlocks.
