Police search for driver involved in hit-and-run

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a person walking along Moores Chapel and Sam Wilson roads.
The incident happened just before 5 a.m. Sunday. There is no description of the vehicle involved and no word yet on the victim.
