CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are cracking down on drunk drivers this Saint Patrick's Day weekend.
A Saturday night checkpoint along Sharon Amity Road netted slew of people. Thirteen were charged with driving while impaired.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police charged 48 people with driving without a license.
Authorities said 43 people are facing charges for a variety of charges including having an open container of alcohol and not wearing a seat belt.
