CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- There are plenty of celebrities in Charlotte for the Democratic National Convention, and they attended parties across the city Monday night.
At the North Carolina Music Factory, several parties went on well into the night.
Tony Bennett headlined a sold-out concert at the Fillmore. Nancy Pelosi was said to be in the audience.
Around the bend at Butter Nightclub, the Hollywood super band Camp Freddy jammed on the outside patio.
Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction headlines the band.
Inside Butter, Adrien Grenier performed with his band.
He didn't have much of an "Entourage" with him, but Grenier said he is glad to be in Charlotte and called the city "amazing!"
The actor is in town to perform with his band, The Honey Brothers, at the Impact Film Festival DNC Kickoff Party.
"I have a couple of hidden talents," he said, before backtracking. "I don't know if it's a talent, but I do play the drums."
He chatted wih the other big name of the night -- Oscar winner Jeff Bridges -- in town to talk about a new film project.
But we had to ask Grenier what everyone seems to be talking about: Southern cooking.
Have you had a chance to check out any Southern food yet? Grenier said, "Are you cooking? I will if you're coming!"
