CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Lightning from Sunday morning's storm sparked a house fire in southeast Charlotte.
Firefighters were called to the 300 block of Greengate Lane just before 8:00 a.m.
Officials said when they arrived, heavy smoke was pouring from the home. It took them 10 minutes to get the fire under control.
The woman who lives there was able to get out safely, but she'll need to find another place to stay.
