GASTONIA, N.C. – Gastonia Police arrested a teen after they say he stole thousands in electronics from a home.
The incident happened Friday night on Florida Street in Gastonia. The police report states the victim told officers that his front door was open and his 60 inch flat screen tv and laptop had been stolen the report states.
The report states an officer actually saw Eric Brice, 19, inside the residence before he tried to run away. He was arrested a short time later.
According to the report, the items totaled close to $2,600. According to the Gaston County Jail, Brice was booked under a $15,000 bond and charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering and larceny.
Gaston Count Jail records indicate, Brice is familiar with law enforcement. He's been arrested f four times dating back to 2010. The charges range from simple assault to impeding traffic.
