CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A section of Tuckaseegee Road is closed as crews work to repair a water main break.
Officials with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Department tell NewsChannel 36 Berryhill Road and Camp Greene Street at Tuckaseegee Road are closed while crews make repairs.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said the water main break happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Officials aren't certain the size or what caused the water main break.
On Sunday, officials said the water main break was fixed and that crews were working to repair the roadway. Crews feared the concrete would buckle under the water's pressure.
It's unclear how many customers were without water.
