Brooks Koepka wins U.S. Open with 67 in final round

ERIN, Wis. (USA TODAY) -- Brooks Koepka has won the U.S. Open, the first major title of his career, finishing 16 under par for the tournament.

Koepka shot a blistering 5-under 67 in Sunday's final round at Erin Hills. The 27-year-old, who played at Florida State, made the turn at 14-under.

He started the day tied for second, one shot behind Brian Harman. It's Koepka's second victory on the PGA Tour, following his 2015 win in the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
