MONROE, N.C. – Production crews headed to Monroe Monday to continue shooting for the new Cinemax TV show ‘Banshee.’
The production has been shooting in the Charlotte area for a little while now, and on Monday crews worked at the Belk-Tonawanda Park and at the 1886 courthouse.
Crews will also be shooting along North Main Street.
No roads will be closed for filming Monday in Monroe. Last month production forced several closures in uptown Charlotte, concerning some business owners.
"As far as I'm concerned, it will be the last time,” said the owner of Tatsis restaurant Danny Yiottis. “I won't do this again."
'Banshee' follows a mysterious ex-con with expert martial arts skills who poses as a sheriff in a town called Banshee. It is set to air sometime next year.
