CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The Carolina Film Alliance has met in Charleston this weekend.
The group met Sunday afternoon at the Pure Theater in downtown Charleston discussing topics like passing legislation to attract more film projects to the state.
The statewide organization is comprised of film crew workers, actors, businesses and individuals working to develop the film industry in South Carolina.
The group's president Richard Futch says the group supports the Wage Supplier Rebate Bill introduced this month in the state Senate.
The bill is designed to increase state wage and supplier rebates for film projects to more competitive levels and so attract more film projects to South Carolina.
