ENKA, N.C. (AP) -- New Belgium Brewing Co. says it will put a distribution center in Buncombe County, creating 30 jobs next year.
The Asheville Citizen-Times reported (http://avlne.ws/1lnHsqG) the company will build the distribution center in Enka at the same time it completes its brewery in Asheville.
The Colorado company is expected to employ a total of 140 workers when it opens in the fall of next year.
A Buncombe County panel is expected to consider approving the building plans next month.
New Belgium said nearly two years ago that it would build a brewery in Asheville.
The warehouse will handle New Belgium distribution for the East Coast.
