WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) -- The Wilmington Regional Film Commission Board of Directors has a new leader.
The StarNews of Wilmington reported (http://bit.ly/X216GA) that the board has appointed EUE/Screen Gems Executive Vice President Bill Vassar as chairman. Vassar has been a commission member since 2008.
He took over the year-long position Friday from board member Carey Jones, president of The Production Source Inc., which provides services to film production companies. Jones will serve as vice-chair on the five-person board.
