CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (AP) - Camp Lejeune is holding a job fair for military spouses and also helping participants prepare for it.
The Daily News of Jacksonville reports (http://bit.ly/1Bk04xh) that Hiring Our Heroes Camp Lejeune is being held Wednesday at the Marston Pavilion on base. Sarah Worley, the military spouse program manager for Hiring our Heroes, says the fair has attracted more than 30 local businesses and members of the chamber of commerce.
To help spouses prepare, the base holds a networking reception on Tuesday where spouses can have a professional review their resumes and practice introducing themselves to prospective employers.
Both events are open to spouses of all active duty service members as well as spouses of those in the Guard and Reserves. It's also open to spouses of veterans and military retirees.
