American Shingle files for bankruptcy

ATLANTA, G.A. – A Georgia-based roofing company under investigation by Better Business Bureau offices across the country, filed for bankruptcy Thursday.
In the Charlotte area, both customers and contractors have complained to the BBB about American Shingle and Siding, Inc..
According to paperwork, the company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and estimates that it owes creditors $10 to $50 million.
