#3 The Handyman Company (BBB Grade F) - In 2012, eight homeowners from six counties (Catawba, Burke, Lincoln, Union, Mecklenburg and York) filed complaints with the BBB against Hickory-based Handyman Company. Complaints focus on poor quality work and lack of follow up. Owner Chris Robinson did not respond to any of these complaints. Since 2006, 64 complaints have been filed against James Chris Robinson under five business names, of which 24 complaints have gone unanswered. REPEAT OFFENDER: Robinson was #4 on the 2011 Dirty Dozen List.
