On the heels of the controversial Cheerios ad featuring a biracial family, Blockbuster released its latest commercial, also featuring a biracial family, on its YouTube channel.
At the time this story was posted, the video had received less than 400 views, and the comments were still enabled, unlike the Cheerios ad which has more than 2 million views, and the comments have been long since turned off following a flood of negative feedback.
General Mills and Cheerios spoke out in support of the commercial saying, essentially, that the average American family comes in many forms.
Despite the negative feedback, there has been an outpouring of support on social media for the cereal company.
