Thirty-seven-percent of North Carolinians says they're worse off than they were one year ago.

The information comes from a poll conducted by students at High Point University.

Fifty-seven- percent of respondents say the tax deal to avoid the fiscal cliff will hurt them in the long run.

While 52-percent say they do not support the health care reform signed by President Obama in 2010.
