The largest are Groupon and LivingSocial. The offers are at least 50% off the regular price.

Often the deals are "experiences" – so, instead of another necktie or coffee mug, he'll get great memories.

To follow the deals, you can sign up to receive daily emails from Groupon or LivingSocial.

You won't get them in the daily email that Groupon sends out, but Charlotte on the Cheap often includes them.
