Despite their best efforts, neighbors in Tega Cay have lost their battle, and on Wednesday, their new water rate hikes went into effect.
It means they'll be paying about $20 more a month for water.
They took their complaints about bad smelling water, and poor service to Columbia, but the Tega Cay Water Services" increase was still approved.
