CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting outside a northeast Charlotte nightclub early Tuesday morning.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they received at call about a shooting at Club 124 Atando around 2 a.m.
When police arrived on the scene, they discovered 22-year-old Dominick Eugene Alexander suffering from a gunshot wound. Alexander died on the way to Carolinas Medical Center, according to Medic.
During the investigation, a second victim arrived at Carolinas Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Police said an altercation began outside Club 124 Atando which led to the shooting.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit are canvassing the area to determine whether there were any witnesses to this incident.
