1 shot in Firehouse Subs parking lot

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are searching for three suspects who shot a man in the parking lot of a sandwich shop Tuesday night. 

Around 9:15, police say a man was shot in the stomach and pistol-whipped during a gunpoint robbery in the parking lot of Firehouse Subs in the 8500 block of South Tryon Street in the Whitehall Commons Shopping Center. 

Police are searching for three suspects who are believed to be in a white four-door vehicle. 

The victim was taken to CMC-Main with injuries police say are not life-threatening.
