CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have charged two more men in the February shooting death of a man in West Charlotte.
On Monday, 24-year-old Ryan Kendall Andrews was arrested and charged with murder by homicide/assault with a deadly weapon. Tuesday, 32-year-old James Maurieo Hunter was named as the fourth suspect in the murder of 57-year-old Ronny Eugene Steele. Hunter was picked up on a murder warrant.
Last Friday, CMPD named 29-year-old Charlie Edward Snowden the second suspect in the February murder of a man in West Charlotte.
Authorities picked up Snowden without incident on Thursday in Florence County, South Carolina.
Snowden is charged with murder.
A 28-year-old man, Reuben Timothy Curry, was charged with the fatal shooting of the 57-year-old in late February.
Steele died of a gunshot wound suffered outside of a residence in the 2800 block of Wedgefield Drive on February 25.
Curry also suffered a gunshot wound, and police caught up with him receiving treatment at Carolinas Medical Center.
Police said a handgun was found near the shooting scene, and added that several shots were apparently fired.
