2 seriously injured in double shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two people were injured in a shooting in east Charlotte Halloween night.

Two adult male victims were hanging out behind the Bi-Lo grocery store in the parking lot when they were both shot by a single suspect.

First responders were called to the 6300 block of Albemarle Road and transported the two victims to the hospital.

They both received a single gunshot wound and were listed in critical but stable condition Tuesday morning.

Police say the initial investigation revealed that the victims know the suspect.
