52 charges stem from arrests at Salisbury motel

SALISBURY, N.C. -- Undercover agents say they purchased narcotics over two-month period at a Salisbury motel.

Salisbury Police contacted Alcohol Law Enforcement to assist with the investigation in mid-June. Complaints of prostitution, drug sales and overdoes prompted the investigation.

After months of surveillance, police executed search warrants on Thursday at Economy Inn on Bendix Drive and another location on Torbush Road.

Police say they made 52 arrests as a result of this investigation

John Hipps (pictured above), Tricia Weast (pictured above), Selina Locklear, Ricky Lee Hoskins Jr. and J.P. Miller were arrested on 52 charges including selling cocaine.
