BETHLEHEM, N.C. – Alexander County police arrested seven people last week after discovering a drug house in Bethlehem.
Police say a home on Colts Neck Lane was used to sell various prescription medications, including opium.
Alexander County Sheriff’s officials arrested three of the seven suspects last Thursday, and then arrested four others on Monday.
Sirena Watson, 25, Jody Travis Carlton, 28, and Tabith Dawn Carlton, 36, Penny Joy McDaniel, 64, Christopher Damion Lail, 29, Anthony Rashad McFarland, 26, and Hubert Lee Carlton Jr., 50, were all arrested.
Each person was charged with trafficking opium, possession with intent to sell, manufacture and deliver a controlled substance and maintaining a house to sell a controlled substance.
All seven arrested were placed under $20,000 secured bonds and are due in court on December.
