ALBEMARLE, N.C. -- A drive-by shooting investigation led to the arrest of an Albemarle man.

Neighbors in the 400 block of East Oakwood Avenue reported hearing shots fired on the night of July 8.

No one was hurt, but a vehicle was damaged while driving eastbound on Oakwood, as well as one home.

Mitchell Bernard Bordeaux, 20, is charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a firearm while in the city limits of Albemarle.

He booked into jail with a $75,000 secured bond.

Police say additional arrests are expected.
