MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- The Mooresville Police Department announced on Wednesday that an arrest has been made in the death of a high school student.

Naquan Jermaine McGill, 20, is charged with armed robbery and first degree murder in the death of Mooresville teen Markell Terrice Norris.

Norris' body was found by officers at a residence in the 300 block of Bell Street after officers responded to a report of an unconscious subject.

Norris, who was shot to death, was a student at Mooresville High School.
