CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Crime Stoppers tip led investigators with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department to an arrest in two Harris Teeter robberies.
Officials have arrested Andrew Clyburn, 42, for the October 18 and November 8 robberies at the Harris Teeter in the 2200 block of West WT Harris Boulevard.
In both cases, police say Clyburn handed a cashier a note demanding money. Authorities say Clyburn had his hand in his jacket pocket making both victims believe he had a gun.
In both incidents, Clyburn was able to flee the scene.
Clyburn faces robbery with a dangerous weapon and common law robbery.
