LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. – Authorities arrested a man after he threatened a family on Facebook.

Officials arrested Paul Brenton Bernard, 43, of Lincolnton after he wrote “sensitive personal information” about a family on a Facebook page.

Authorities tell NBC Charlotte, he didn’t post the threats directly on any one of the family member’s page but rather a mutual Facebook friend.

On Friday, officials arrested and charged Benard with misdemeanor cyberstalking. He was released on a $2,500 secured bond.
