ANSON COUNTY, N.C. -- A bank robbery suspect led police on a high speed chase into Anson County, deputies say.
It started Friday afternoon when the suspect hit a BB&T on Rockingham in Richmond County.
The suspect then led police on a chase into the Lilesville area on Anson County. Deputies deployed stop sticks, which the suspect ran over. He continued driving for about 3 miles until hitting another car head on on West Wall Street.
Medics took the suspect and the victim to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect’s name has not been released.
