ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- Bath salts, prescription pills and two guns were seized during a search of a Rowan County home, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at the house in the 300 block of Alana Drive on Thursday.

Tips led detectives to Michael Bramblett, 44. Police say they learned Bramblett was distributing the bath salts from his home and a business he was formerly involved with in China Grove.

Investigators believe the drugs were mailed to the suspect from China.

Deputies took about 60 grams of bath salts from the residence in addition to 10 small plastic bags filled with diluted bath salts, police say. The sheriff's office says also took a handgun, shotgun, oxycodone tablets, various drug paraphernalia and cash.

Bramblett was arrested and booked into jail. His father, 73-year-old Bobby Ray Bramblett, and his ex-wife, 35-year-old Marian Jones, also face trafficking charges.
