BESSEMER CITY, N.C. -- Gaston County Police say two high school students attempted to blackmail a school employee who's accused of engaging in a sexual act with the teen boys.
Kwanda Carpenter, 33, a Bessemer City High School employee, is facing two charges of sexual activity with a student by a school employee.
Officials say Carpenter, a bus driver for the school, is accused of engaging in a sexual act with two students, ages 17 and 16, in early October.
