BOONE, N.C. -- Boone Police say a homeowner walked inside their residence to find an intruder inside.
Monday afternoon, police say 25-year-old Jonathan Glenn Pleasant, broke into a home on Creekside Lane, and fled the through the home's back door when the homeowner returned.
Then, according to authorities, Pleasant fled the area in a vehicle, striking the homeowner's car as he left.
Officers located Pleasant at the end of Chase Hill Drive, where he was arrested and taken into custoy.
Pleasant is charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and misdemeanor hit and run.
He was booked in to the Watauga County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
