ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Burglars set loose pythons in a Rock Hill home as they took the victim’s TV, accoridng to police.

It happened Aug. 28 at a house in the 1700 block of Kallaramo Road.

The woman noticed her flat screen TV was stolen Wednesday and called police. Repairmen were in the house fixing damage done in a mid-July fire, and she believes they are responsible.

Police say during the robbery, the burglars knocked over a tank holding several pythons in her basement.

The victim says this breed of python is rare, and the snakes are worth about $2,500. She believes the burglars also made off with one of her snakes.
