CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have arrested one man involved in a string of fast-food robberies the last couple of weeks.
Police have charged 21-year-old Jonathan Shaird for for his involvement in two armed robberies.
Authorities said Shaird robbed the Taco Bell on Freedom Drive and demanded money from the victim business.
After the robbery Shaird got into a waiting vehicle that was being driven by a second suspect.
A short time later, Shaird entered the Wendy's on Freedom Drive and robbed it, according to police. During the robbery he forced the employees to the rear of the restaurant.
There were no injuries reported during these robberies.
Shaird was arrested on Monday and is being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail.
