CMPD seeks ID on Cook Out robber

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are hoping to identify an armed robber who stole money from the Cook Out restaurant on Sardis Road North on Monday.

Right at 7 a.m., police say an armed black male entered the Cook Out in the 1800 block of Sardis Road North and demanded cash from the employees.

The suspect, who is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 25-years-old, standing between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet-tall with a medium build, fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, a black and white polka dot bandana, gloves, and was seen carrying light blue duffel bag.

Police say the robbery seems to be connected to an armed robbery of a Cook Out in Denver.
