CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Ten to 15 LYNX Light Rail riders witnessed a bizarre sight last Thursday afternoon as one woman forced another to strip.

The incident happened at the Archdale Light Rail Station around 2 o'clock.

"We don't who it was, what about or anything. It appears they might have been fighting over a boyfriend or maybe a relative," said CMPD Sgt. Charles Rappleyea.

He heads the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Transit Unit.

"One was being very disorderly," he said.

Someone shot it with their cellphone camera and uploaded the video to worldstarhiphop.com

Jessica Clark found the video to be very upsetting.

"Should not have made her take her clothes off in front of everybody which is kind of degrading," said Clark, who’s a frequent rider.

Police say that no one intervened, and no one called officers to the scene to help. That doesn't sit well with DeAngelo Durham who brought his family to the Light Rail Tuesday afternoon.

"I'm not surprised, but yes I am surprised; we are all supposed to be good citizens and when we see something you can't just watch it, you're supposed to help," he said.

Police have passed around still pictures of the woman to the officers who work around the Light Rail.

They want to talk to her and potentially charge her with disorderly conduct.
