CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Three men accused of robbing a man at knifepoint have been arrested.

Police responded to the 5100 block of South Tryon Street on Wednesday.

The victim told police three men stole his wallet and other personal belongings before taking off on foot. As police searched, a neighbor approached them to say the suspects ran by his house and into a home in 5600 block of Coulee Place.

During the investigation, police noticed Jontavious Polk’s electronic monitoring device pinged at the robbery scene. The 22 year old is required to wear the device because of a previous robbery case. Officers used the monitor and tracked down Polk to the house on Coulee Place.

Police found all three suspects inside of the residence. They arrested Polk, 21-year-old Deontae Carrothers and 28-year-old Jawayne Lynch. They are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery.
