CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating two shootings in the same west Charlotte neighborhood within 24 hours of each other on Monday.
Authorities say one person was treated on the scene for a gunshot wound before being transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries around 4 p.m.
The scene of the shooting was the intersection of Deherradora Avenue and Bost Street in west Charlotte.
Police responded to a second shooting a block from the first incident around 11 p.m. Police say someone fired a number of shots into the two homes off of Blessing Street.
A woman was grazed by a bullet but is expected to be OK.
Police have no suspects in custody, and have not said if both shootings are related.
